Fannie had 19 brothers and sisters but she was the youngest of them all, The SNCC wanted her to be in the registrating meeting to vote but she was surprised that African Americans could vote. But that would have been a dangerous thing because she thought that they could kill her if she raised her hand to go for or oppose for something. When she got to the court house, she and others were jailed and beaten by the police. Later she co-founded the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party in 1964.
What they did to impact the Civil Rights Movement (4-5 sentences) (9 pts) She had a great impact because first, she challenged The White Democratic Party. She spoke infront of a televised committee whch reached millions of viewers.She told the commiteethat how many Africans cross states and were prevented from voting. because she had the courage to speak, two members of her foundation, MFDP, were seated as honorable guests.The MFDP was the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party.
